You’ve heard the saying before, you body is your temple… Well that is more true than ever. Especially when the world is at our fingertips, and not matter what we do, the To Do list keeps getting longer and longer. So your best bet is to take care of yourself first and try some of these healthy living tips to live a more abundant and fulfilling life. Because isn’t that what it’s all about?
Drink Plenty of Water and Tea ?
This is on the top of my list because it is something I work on daily. Typically my tea intake is not a problem, it’s the water I have a challenge with at times. So to tackle this tip, try having a glass of water when you get up, when you go to bed, and with meals. If you try this you will drink a reasonable amount, it will help with digestion and you will feel fuller.
Ideally it would be great to be active everyday, but lets face it… Sometimes it just doesn’t work out (pun intended). So try doing 30 minutes of exercise at least 5 days a week. And don’t be afraid to get creative… Going for a bike ride, a hike etc. all count. Believe me, I checked.
Get Plenty of Rest
The amount of rest recommended changes on a daily basis. Which will also be different for everyone. The trick is getting a sustained restful sleep, and 7-8 hours is suggested. Listen to your body and see what feels right for you. Oh, and did I mention we have a tea for that! (Sleep Tight, and Sleep Easy)
Eat a Balanced Diet
This tip is pretty much world-renowned. We all know what the bad foods are and what the good foods are. So I try to eat mostly good, but also indulge in the “good bad foods” once in a while. Really, if you cannot enjoy the finer things in life, what is the point? I recommend keeping it balanced and everything in moderation. Try to avoid refined foods when possible, limit alcohol intake, and eat fresh fruits and veggies. As a side note, if you are looking at clearing out some of those toxins, give our Detox Tea a go. I know, easier said than done. But I’ve gotta put it out there. Eventually if you hear it enough, maybe you will try some meditation or an online yoga stretching class. Who knows. Everyone is different and alleviates stress in their own way. So know what that is or figure it out, and then you’re on your way to feeling relaxed and stress free-ish. (Get some Stress Relief)
